Yum-my…

For those of you who do not have People.com on your iGoogle, here’s a little video I had to pass on. It’s Tim McGraw being, ummmm, Tim. It’s why he’s soooo stinkin’ hawt. He can be super sweet, talking about how in love he is with his wife and then he can be a total tough guy about to get in a fist fight on stage. Check it out!

Hmmm, I wonder if Faith was thinkin’, “dang my man’s hot!” or, “I can’t believe he just did that!”. LOL.

Mark + Anne (cont’d)

Since they have now seen their gallery of images I want to post some of my favorites from their session. Mark isn’t too comfortable in front of the camera, but he was trying so hard to relax and I think it shows. Especially in the first picture.

Here is Anne’s ring. Isn’t it gorgeous?! If I remember correctly Mark picked this out all by himself. I love the sapphires to add a little pop of color.

Also, do you like the rounded corners on the photos? I made myself a photoshop action from some online tutorials. Feel free to download the action here. I made it in CS2 so I have no idea if it will work in the other versions. If you have a version other than CS2 and it works for you please let me know. :)

Just me…

Oy. What a week. The kiddos were supposed to go to their Nana’s last weekend and then start swim lessons this week. They apparently had other plans. Last Friday, I noticed some bumps on my youngest and the doctor said they sounded like chicken pox. Lovely! He’s had not one, but as of a couple weeks ago, TWO vaccines for these stinkin’ things. Then, low & behold, I check my oldest and she’s got dots on her too! Btw, she has also had the vaccine. Errrrrr. Good news is that it was not a bad case for either of them. They got maybe a total of 25 each and they didn’t itch at all. They are already mending and according to the doctors office, are no longer contagious. Woo-hoo! Bad news? I’ve never had the chicken pox. Yep, seriously. Doctor told me when I had my first baby that I should get a vaccine, but did I listen? NOOOOO, of course not. I hate needles and I had had enough of them when I was prego so I ignored the doc. And…now I’m sweating bullets hoping that I won’t get them. I keep thinking I have a spot, but then second guess myself. I do have a couple of spots, but I’m still unsure if that’s what it is. They are in hard to see places. :o \

Anyhoo…I’m always in awe of these photographers that can take such awesome, creative self portraits. I hate being in front of the camera so I’m definitely more comfortable with taking my own portrait. However, it is DANG hard to get it in focus & composed. I was in the kitchen the other night and noticed my reflection so I grabbed my camera. Here’s my feeble attempt. Don’t laugh.

PSA…Oral Hygiene

First off, yes, these are my heathens. But I love ‘em. I mean, who couldn’t love faces like these?! LOL.

PSA…
Please make sure your kids know what can happen if they don’t brush well while at their Nana & Pappy’s house. They will grow big ugly teeth and some will even have bling in them. There is a chance that they will be skeptical. If this happens, feel free to point them to this picture. :)

Danika…Clay High, C/O 2009

I had such an easy time photographing Ms. Danika over the weekend. Her sister came along with her for support and I had my fabulous friend Stacy manning the reflector. Everyone but Danika was pooring sweat because of our glorious 90+ Florida heat. Thankfully we kept Danika blotted off and in the shade as much as possible.

Thanks for coming out and braving the heat you guys! Here is your sneak peek…

Mark & Anne are getting married!

June 4, 2008 | Filed Under Uncategorized | 5 Comments

I had my first ever engagement session last weekend with two awesome people. Mark & Anne are getting married this November and they picked me to take their engagement photos. We headed down to St. Augustine and first had a drink at A1A Ale Works to loosen up a little. Afterward we just walked around to find some cool spots and then across the Lions Gate bridge to take some shots with Anne’s Mini Cooper.

I had such a great time hanging out and taking pictures that day. Thanks so much to Mark & Anne for putting up with me and to my assistant Marsha for helping me out even though I didn’t utilize her nearly enough as I should have. Also, to Marsha’s hubby Josh & my hubby, Eric for keeping the couple “loose” during their photos. :)

Here’s a little sneak peek for Mark & Anne. I hope you like them!
