Well, their sweet baby girl finally decided to face the world! She is such a precious girl and was so good for me. Here she is making her modeling debut…
I know mommy isn’t too fond of the baby button, but I think it’s such a sweet reminder of where they came from and how they’ve been living for the past 9 months.

I met up with little K’s family a few weeks ago to take 6 yr old pics of big brother. We took the trek down to Jax beach area since mom says that big brother loves the beach. Turns out he loves it a whole LOT because I think it was pure torture to take pictures while the beach was in eyesight. lol. We got some great shots anyway and his reward for a fantastic photo session was to actually get to play on the beach afterwards.

I can’t believe I’m just now blogging this wedding. I’ve gotten a wee bit behind in posting! I am slowly branching out into second shooting weddings and Suzie trusted me enough to hire me for her wedding in Ponte Vedra. Suzie Seagraves is a central FL photog, but the wedding was up here so she was looking for someone local to shoot with her and my name was thrown out there (thank you Melanie!). I was thrilled to be getting more experience and shooting with Suzie was a blast! Thanks Suzie!
Justin & Sarah were a super fun & adorable couple. Their wedding took place at the gorgeous Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra. The weather was threatening to disrupt our pre-wedding pics, but thankfully held off! Here are a few of the shots I got of their amazing day…

My morning started off like any other session morning. I got packed up and headed out toward my clients house. Unfortunately, on the way there I started feeling nauseous and by the time I realized I “should” have eaten something for breakfast, it was too late….I was already sickly. It wasn’t too bad to start with so I tried to take it easy hoping it would subside like normal. I ended up having to fess up that I wasn’t feeling well about 30 minutes after I got there. I was really worried my light headedness & nausea wouldn’t go away and I would have to reschedule our session. Which I definitely did not want to do. One of the many reasons being that Marsha had gone to the salon that morning and gotten all dolled up just for me! I’m so happy that I stuck it out because eventually my sickness started to fade and I was able to capture some great images for them. Huge thanks to Marsha & Josh who were so sweet and understanding about the whole ordeal!
It was so great seeing you guys today! I can’t wait to meet your baby girl soon!

Holy cow, two posts in two days! I’m on a roll….maybe. Anywho, I met up with my fabulous photog friend Stacy today for breakfast and a little chat. We had fun chatting photography and just life in general. I ended up taking a couple of headshots of her to preserve the memory of her new darker hair color that she may or may not keep. I think it looks gorgeous! Really makes her sparkling blue eyes POP, don’t ya think?!

My baby boy is turning SIX!

In just 2 short days my youngest will be SIX. Yikes! When did that happen? He’s such a little man. We love him (and big sister of course) to pieces!
A little more about the birthday boy…
-loves his mommy of course. He’s very in to being my protector & buddy. He makes it known when there are tickle fights that he is on MY side even though sometimes that gets him extra tickles.
-super smart. He’s already reading chapter books and is above average in math & writing as well.
-loves to be rubbed. You know, that really light, finger tipped, almost tickly rubbing. Daddy started him on that when he was young and now if you’re sitting with him watching tv or a movie, watch out, b/c he will be pulling up his shirt so you can rub his belly! lol.
-hard headed like his Daddy. 
-a little whiney at times like his Mommy.
-slightly OCD
-very technical mind. He likes to know how things work and are put together.
-very sweet & lovey, but rough & tumble at the same time.

As most of you know, Cherry Street Photography is participating in an amazing National Charity Model Search to find America’s Cutest Kid and support a very important charity called Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. I was at a seminar last night with the creator of this model search and co-founder of NILMDTS, Sandy Puc. She dropped the bomb that in just three short weeks of voting we have raised over…*suspense building silence*…$42,800! Forty-two THOUSAND, Eight-hundred dollars! Can you believe it?!
In case you are unaware of what NILMDTS is, please visit www.nilmdts.org for more information. And please, even if you don’t participate in the model search, forward this website on to your friends. This is an incredible charity that more people need to know about. Just a little heads up, you might want to be prepared with a box of tissues when you visit the site.

As you can tell I’ve been a little MIA from the blog this month. I have been so busy with life as a mom/photographer, working out 4-5 days a week and starting to plan my baby boy’s 6th b-day party. Also, I’m sad to report I lasted only about a month of my project 365. lol. Although I won’t be adding a picture a day anymore, I am trying to take more photos of daily life!
On this past Valentine’s Day I had the pleasure of assisting Jaime, of Couture Weddings, with Angela & Bill’s gorgeous Gainesville wedding. I had such a great time! Thanks so much Bill & Angela for sharing your special day with me! And to Jaime who not only let me assist, but also let me drive her car after I got a little car sick on the way back home.
